The development of weapons requires increasing the survivability of armored vehicles, strengthening anti-drone and anti-mine protection

One of the best technological solutions in this regard is MRAP.

MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) is a class of armored vehicles that have become essential for moving personnel on the front lines.

Body Car Armor

MRAP hulls are made of high quality foreign steel. This ensures increased ballistic protection of the PZSA-5 (STANAG 4569, level 2) - it can withstand 7.62x39 mm caliber shots with a BZ bullet in all projections at a distance of 10 meters and fragments from 155 mm field artillery shells at a distance of 25 meters.

Additionally, the armored capsules of our vehicles
are covered with anti-shrapnel baffles on the inside, which protects the crew and internal equipment from free-forming fragments weighing 1.1 g at a speed of 500 m/s.

Mine protection

MRAP vehicles by UKR ARMO TECH have a V-shaped lower body to dissipate blast energy and special seats with shock absorption against explosive loads.

We also provide reliable protection against the blast effect of explosive devices and mines weighing 6 kg of TNT under the wheels and body of the car.

Armored glass

MRAPs provide better visibility from the cab, which is important in surveillance conditions.

The bulletproof glass provides a level of protection for the windows of our armored vehicles that is not lower than the level of the corresponding projections of the car body.

FPV protection

The global use of FPV drones has shown that additional steel shields are needed to increase the survivability of armored vehicles. These are anti-stimulus and anti-drone grids located at some distance from the main armor.
On our vehicles, fixed mounts for protective screens are placed in such a way as not to limit the functionality of the equipment itself and not to complicate its operation.
To counter enemy FPV drones, all our vehicles are equipped with on-board electronic warfare systems as standard equipment.
In order to effectively counteract the enemy's constant inventions in this area, UKR ARMO TECH specialists refine the design and settings of electronic warfare devices almost every month.

Round-the-clock surveillance

We actively use round-the-clock surveillance devices installed on the roof of the vehicles. The information is displayed on the screen in front of the driver (night surveillance) and between the commander and the driver (daytime surveillance).
This ensures control of the area directly from the driver's and commander's seats.
Light masking is provided by special headlights. When switching to the light masking mode, all interior and exterior lighting is turned off at the touch of a button. Only the monitor of the night surveillance device remains on.

Multi-zone fire protection

Typically, tactical wheeled vehicle manufacturers install fire extinguishing systems only in the cargo compartment and engine compartment.
Unlike many competitors' vehicles, fire protection of the wheel arches is a prerequisite for the survivability of our armored vehicles.
During a battle, even when the hull is slightly damaged and the engine is running, tires often catch fire. As a result, a practically serviceable armored vehicle loses its ability to move and becomes a static target on the battlefield.

UKR ARMO TECH's armored vehicles are already being tested with in-house developed fire protection systems that are triggered separately for each wheel in case of fire. The multi-zone external protection complex limits the impact of explosives and incendiary ammunition on the tires and increases the survival of the crew in conditions of comprehensive fire damage.

Off-road capability

During production, our MRAPs receive a modernized chassis and the main suspension components are completely replaced.
To improve the vehicle's handling, an additional steering damper is mounted to make steering smoother and more comfortable during sharp maneuvers.

Armored inserts are welded onto the axle housings, which are the axle support elements, to prevent deformation of the axle sleeves under harsh driving conditions, such as after jumps.

Additional shock absorbers are installed, and reinforced springs and springs with additional sheets are used to strengthen the suspension and provide deflection resistance.

The comprehensive modernization of the chassis by "UKR ARMO TECH" ensures the ability to overcome steep climbs and eliminates rollovers in off-road conditions.

runflat wheels

Our trucks are equipped with a crew, which is also facilitated by a semi-automatic inflation system that pumps up tire pressure in the event of a significant amount of damage to the tire coating.

Maintaining mobility, and therefore the safety of the crew, is also facilitated by the machine's semi-automatic inflation system, which pumps up tire pressure in the event of a significant amount of damage to the rubber coating.

Innovations in production

The production that perform the best possible protective function and successfully compete in the market is ensured by advanced technologies and optimized production processes: laser cutting of armor steel, high-quality welding, design solutions for modernization of major components and assemblies, advanced protection and comprehensive testing, quality control at every stage of production.

In a short period of time, "UKR ARMO TECH" has become one of the leaders in the Ukrainian armored car market thanks to bold ideas and their high-quality implementation.

Mobile service technologies

The use of equipment in difficult war conditions requires timely repair and restoration work.

To solve this problem, we have developed specialized service vehicles that promptly deliver repair teams to damaged armored vehicles with all the technical equipment necessary for autonomous operation
The mobile workshops are able to provide urgent assistance on the spot or tow the damaged armored vehicle to a more convenient location for repair.
