Russian losses in tanks and armored vehicles exceeded 10,000 units, — Oryx

This is evidenced by information on the site Oryx, which is engaged in the calculation of losses of the army of the Russian Federation.

According to Oryx analysts, since the start of the invasion, the Russians have lost 10,037 units of tanks and other armored vehicles. This includes infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers, and mine and ambush protection vehicles (MRAPs). Of these, 7,271 units of equipment were destroyed. 366 units were damaged, 873 units abandoned. In addition, another 1,527 units of equipment were captured by the Ukrainian military.

Most Losses Russian tanks are of various modifications of the T-72. Also, the Russians lost 159 of their most modern T-90 tanks of various modifications.

As reported by Ukrainian News, in July of this year, the German publication Süddeutsche Zeitung (SZ) wrote that while maintaining the current pace of hostilities, Russia will have enough equipment for another 2-3 years. The Economist previously wrote that next year the Russian army may be forced to move to the defense due to the lack of armored vehicles.
